A nice young missionary from Australia ushered Aaron into the MTC today at 12:53 P.M. It was an amazing, quick event. Only Dad, Mom and big brother Austin were able to see him off at the curb. For the next 730+ days, friends and family can visit this blog and read emails and letters, see photos and place comments for Aaron to see when he returns. Please visit often for this will be Aaron's "Book of Remembrance" for years to come.
Thank You,
John Jackson
Worst but best day of my life.. I love you Bro!!!
ReplyDeleteYesterday after hours and hours of tears I got one of the worst head aches I have had in a while. It hurt even worse than my heart, which was just about broken!!! Then as I was getting ready for bed I rescued a baby bird from Bella. The mother must have pushed it out of the nest to teach it to fly. How fitting for the day I just went through. I tried to locate the nest but could not find it. I did however find another baby bird and the mother who was near by keeping watch. I too watched over the baby birds to make sure the mother "knew what she was doing", then I realized....sometimes the best thing we can do as parents is "let them fly"!!
ReplyDeleteI love you Aaron!! Fly fly but remember to come home!
ReplyDeleteGood heavens and good luck
