Goodbye, MTC.

I have now left the MTC and am currently on my way to Texas! Please keep reading this blog, as I will surely keep you updated on my address. Here is a synopsis of my last week:

Friday (7/8/11)- right after i got done typing i recieved my flight plans to Dallas Texas at 830 in the morning, but we have to be at the travel office at 5 in the morning ready to go! Thats about it that night.
Saturday (7/9/11)-Very humbling day today, reached page 500 in the truest book on the earth and was just so happy, i love reading out of the book of mormon every day, it helps in so many different ways and i challenge anyone who hasnt read a bit of it to at least open it up and read and pray to know if its true and i promise that you will recieve an answer through the spirit. Today was a relaxed day because we did not have to teach any investigators so we just cracked down on the language instead. But pretty normal day.
Sunday (7/10/11)-today was another looooonnnnnggg sunday as usual, but was our last day of being the second oldest district! District A (who let me tell you was an absolutely terrible disobedient and mean district) well most of them anyway, were leaving tomorrow, so we had a testimony meeting with them and i got on video some of their testimonies, the ones that werent jerks all the time haha and it was pretty good. I GOT CALLED AGAIN TO SPEAK IN SACRAMENT!!! 4 times now, everyone was laughing so hard cause i say the same thing every sunday that i will probably get called on again, and i do.
Monday (7/11/11)-Today was our last monday pretty much in the MTC! crazy stuff, sent a box home and a box to texas, so ready to get out of here and be scared, sweaty and lost! Not much happened other than that.
Tuesday (7/12/11)-google maped out where we will be staying our first night and had our last devotional as well, i shared in front of my district for the first time that i was cut from the Hillcrest basketball team as a senior and shared how that built me into who i am today and that as though it was a scar that it was also a blessing in my life, to be a part of a team that won a ton of games with my best friends other than a team that got beat every night and with people that had little to no respect for action jackson... It was a strong one and i talked about how greatful i was to be on my mission now with my district.
Wednesday (7/13/11)-today i just signed up for haircuts and was pretty much no different, just so ready to get out of here!
Thursday (7/14/11)-Haircuts today, i look sharp as ever, also we had our special shower of kindness throne where one of us gets up and sits up in front of the class and the rest go around and talk about what they liked about the individual and i was so blessed to hear patient and loving to everyone because i can surely admit that i havent always been that way haha, so im super glad that has changed about me and my companion just really shared how much he has loved me and i did the same, Elder Rassmussan cried when he talked about me cause of the blessing i gave him. It was an awesome thing, Elder Crosby talked about my basketball skills and they all said i had given so much up to be here and i enjoyed hearing from people i only knew for 8 weeks but loved so so much!
Friday (7/15/11)- today has been a mess! In field orientation and its been boring, and frustrating and stressful! But im excited to get out and teach this wonderful message, i really appreciate everyone that has supported me this far and that continue to write me i love reading every word of your letters and i promise no matter how busy i am that i will write back when i can, it might take a while but i love everyone of my friends so dont be afraid to send me a letter saying anything! Most importantly though, i want you all to know that i love my savior, he died for all of us and gave us an opportunity to be clean and this message IS true and i wish all could see, i know my father in heaven, loves all very much and i love my family and will be with them for eternity, feel free to write and to continue to follow my blog, for this is my last week here in the mtc i love you all so much! Gracias!
