It's my turn to be a host.

Last friday was terrible, no one was on the same page as another, it was supposed to be an awesome day but it was rough at first, but at the end of the day meeting our mission president, Devin Durant. It was a blessing for all of us and something to wipe the rest of the sloppy day from our minds. Sitting in that room with all of us knowing we were called to serve in Dallas together for the next two years was an amazing feeling that i only wish i could describe. I went back to the dorms feeling really good and knew that even when days are bad that it is only because you are being tested and if you pass? you are richly blessed! Saturday: Not a whole lot went on that day, we all continued to buzz about our new president and our excitement sure shined bright, it was pizza day and me and Elder Witbeck joke and say it is the only part of the day we look forward too haha well today was unusual because all the elders who did not get pizza? spilled on themselves. Chilli, water, elder Beatty had a hair in his fruit so
me and Elder Witbeck lauged and said it was a curse for not getting pizza! Sunday: We had the lesson for the morning class and our topic was a pretty easy one, Jesus Christ. We read out of the book "Jesus the Christ" if you havent read it i reccomend it because it is amazing and the words are very powerful and make you have a total different perception on what he really did for us, Sunday was long!!! I got back to the Dorms and was beat. I ran into Taylor Burkinshaw at the Temple walk and i can tell you its great to see an old friend. Monday: Bad day, not for me but everyone else, people coughing their lungs out and throwing up, not a good day. But me? i dont get it, my bodies immune system refuses to let anything get to me! I had a runny nose for about 5 minutes. Thats it. Tuesday: Today i recieved the letter from my dad saying that im the 4th Jackson to meet Devin Durant! CRAZY! i bore my testimony of that because i know the lord meant it to be like that, that it is not even close to dumb luck. Wednesday: Today was interesting, i got to be a host today and watch other missionaries leave their families for two years, very weird, my fist elder is going to Fortworth Texas and his parents seemed
like they didnt even care he was leaving, but the second was very oppisite! Tears everywhere, i get to do this next week as well. It rained today so no soccer in the fields, instead its basketball in the Gym, I get stuck on a team with two kids who are tennis players... and we are playing king of the court, so i flip the switch and get us all the way to the championship game and i single handedly beat the aboslute best team they could throw at me. Also ran into the Collinsworth today at lunch and talked to him for a little, he is a giant, and is a great kid. Thursday, today was a quick day and not a lot happened, but i can
tell you enough happened to make me SO ready for P day, so tired and worn out from the Language and the long days, also am so excited to get flight plans, a week from today i get my flight plans and 10 days from then im off to Texas to teach and preach the wonderful gospel! If only people could feel what i feel right now that arent members, its truely amazing, i know this is true, the Holy Ghost has manifested it unto me so strongly that even if i was commanded to serve in a place so dangerous
i would be shot at some point, i would go and do. Thats how amazing the feeling is, thanks to all the followers! Hope to get letters and such from, expect a low down on my flight times and such next week, Con mucho amor Elder Aaron Lee Jackson
